Brotherly Devotion
Brotherly Devotion
By the picture I chose above, you can probably already tell this one is a little different. In fact, some people might object to the entire premise of this story. No, there aren’t any freaky threesomes taking place (at least, not yet), but the story is still a little controversial.
Bella is married to Emmett Cullen. They have been together about 6 years, and when the story begins, Bella is comtemplating how the spark from their marriage has started to wane. As we read on, we can really tell this is not a happy marriage at all, even though Bella is lying to herself to feel better about how dismal things really are.
Bella has pretty much only one friend, her husband’s little brother Edward Cullen. They have known each other for years and have always had a special bond. It isn’t unusual for them to spend time together alone, just talking and generally enjoying spending time together.
But, as you can guess, things gradually begin to shift between them until there are HOT forbidden lemons taking place in all sorts of places. Even though this story has a lot of smut, that isn’t what this Edward and Bella’s realtionship is all about. The reader already knows even when they are still just friends that Edward is hopelessly in love with her, and has been since they met. This story has really made me ache for all the characters, since this is such an emotional topic and I’m really anxious about how it will turn out.
Alas, it isn’t finished yet. Only seven chapters are up, but they are LONG chapters, so this isn’t one you will finish quickly. I do reccommend having some time set aside to start this one since you will want to keep reading as long as possible.
UPDATE: The author has officially put this story on hiatus, but updates begin again in March.
