Taylor Lautner In GQ! Holy.Freakin.Abs!

We all know that Rob has been in GQ Magazine before, and now it’s Taylor’s turn! Thank God his time has finally come because these pictures are WOW, and let’s face it, the boy knows how to wear his clothes. Plus, the interview is very cute:

Lautner, 18, sits down and begins to tell me how honored he is to be here, how honored he’s been to be everywhere lately. Like at this year’s Oscars, where he introduced a tribute to horror films alongside Stewart. “I would have passed out if she wasn’t there!” Lautner says. “You’re looking down and you’re talking to George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio—and they’re listening to you!” This is his baseline sentiment: honest, enthusiastic bafflement. It’s probably the only suitable reaction. He talks about the MTV Video Music Awards, where he presented a trophy to his then maybe-girlfriend Taylor Swift, only to watch Kanye snatch the microphone. “I was standing behind her as it was happening, and 100 percent I was sure it was staged!” Lautner says, eyebrows raised. “I thought, ‘This was something that they rehearsed.’ I was enjoying the show! But then Taylor turned around and I saw her face.”

Just then, at the UCLA auditorium, Jeffrey Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks Animation, suddenly interrupts the conversation with a question. Katzenberg—59 years old, V-neck sweater, pleated khakis—leans in close. “Taylor,” he says, “do you have two minutes? Will Smith wants to meet you.”

Taylor Lautner Rolling Stone Interview; Plus Photoshoot Vid!

Taylor Lautner was interviewed by Rolling Stone for the magazine’s upcoming December issue, and he discusses New Moon, his character Jacob Black, and THE ECLIPSE TENT SCENE, people.

An excerpt:

Then she even says she loves you.
That’s why Eclipse was actually my favorite of the series. It’s the height of the love triangle. I think it’s going to be good. That tent scene is the biggest thing possible. She’s cold and I’m hot, so [since vampires are cold], are you going to let me crawl in the sleeping bag with her, or are you just going to let her die?

That’s what I mean. Why don’t you be like, “You guys stay there. I will get you an extra blanket so you can stay warm?” Or, “I’ll turn into a wolf and go skin some animals and make you a blanket.”
No, no, no. Oh my.

That said, I understand the book’s appeal: it’s a great fantasy for someone to have two powerful good-looking guys who can have anybody fighting over her. It’s a classic romance, with fangs and fur heightening it.
Definitely. And I admit proudly that I enjoyed the series. I was not a book reader at all. But then when I read them, they hook you. I feel like each book, and more so the movies, are just getting more exciting and better and better. With New Moon, you know, it’s not just the love story between these two anymore. Now there are three people, and it’s dangerous.

My favorite part of the interview:

What do you think of the whole part about Jacob’s “brother” imprinting on a two-year-old and falling in love with her, then keeping her around until she’s of proper age? Isn’t that a little weird?
Yeah, yeah. Let’s not go there.

The LA Times visited the New Moon set a few months ago and took some breathtaking shots that they finally posted to their website today. I’m not lying when I say these pictures are so beautiful they are nearly overwhelming. I would really like to full-on tounge kiss who ever it was that took these.

Both of them, in the same frame? *thud*

Excuse me, I seem to have swallowed my tounge.

My heart stopped when I saw the one above, no lie. Edward in Bella’s bed?! And in what looks like a crazy dream sequence?!! YES PLEASE!!

*chanting to myself* He’s 17. He is freakin’ 17. He’s 17.

Just hold on until February. Just a few more months. Just a few more months.

And now, my most favorite picture of the bunch. Quite possibly my most favorite picture yet.

This one is so beautiful and sad to me that I actually got tears in my eyes when first saw it.

Oh lady…WOW. I hope this written purely for the hilarity of the replies because I can’t even imagine how crazy they are going to be. Don’t you love her open-mindedness though? She’s totally Team Switzerland, willing to give either of them a chance!

And if only finding a “vampire or warewolf to spend eternity with” was that simple. I’m sure a lot of us would be “willing to be changed”. I also love how the categories for human men are “married” or “boring”. It seems someone hasn’t realized yet that Edward and Jacob are in fact fictional characters.

Woah: Sexy New Moon Book Cover

Wow. EW just revealed this new book cover for New Moon that will tie into the movie release. They definitely made a good choice with this picture, because I, a staunch Team Edward member, didn’t even notice the image of Edward behind them in the moon until I read the Entertainment Weekly article. That is a seriously sexy picture of Bella and Jacob.

Also, look at the wolfpack (that’s what they are, right?) coming up behind them on the cliff. So creeptastic!

I wonder what the exclusive poster inside will be. I need to get my hands on a New Moon poster quick.

Thanks to Twilight Sweden, we have three drool worthy pictures from the movie, and there is one in particular the Team Jacob fans (and the rest of us closet pervs) will adore.

And the best for last….(Drumroll PLZ)

Yep, that’s Jay-Tay (I made that up just now, because I’ve never really seen a blending of the two names like we have for Robward. Feel free to use it anytime you need it) wet and naked. Dripping wet, and naked.

Yep…Just wanted to make sure you got the fact that he is DRIPPING WET and NAKED, and the water is sliding down his musucular chest…

And that’s all I’m going to say about that. I’m pretty much speechless right now, so ‘m goinna go and erase my hard drive so I don’t get into trouble for looking at this picture so long.

First Official New Moon Trailer

Now that I’ve watched the trailer a few times and even managed to watch it without crying, I’m prepared to analyze it.

One of the first things I noticed about this trailer is that the overall feel of the movie (these pieces of it, rather) is completely diffrerent than the first movie. The look is subtly different in so many ways. The film doesn’t have that bluish gray wash that Twilight had, and I think this is a good thing. New Moon is all about the werewolves, and they symbolize warmth and heat. Something that does bug me about the new wash on the film is that it’s changed the hair color of some of the Cullens, and that’s going to take some getting used to for me.

I started crying as soon as I saw the birthday party. Edward looked so pained, it broke my heart. Then when they were standing in the woods, I cried more.

Something about that scene bothers me though. I’m going to sound totally weird when I say this, but from what I saw in the preview, Edward wasn’t cruel enough to Bella as he was leaving. I hope they show that in the movie, because that made the break up scene in the book so much more agonizing.

But I’m going to rewind for a hot second. The first time I watched this preview, I was so excited that I couldn’t even form coherent thoughts. All my brain managed was, “OMG New Moon trailer: Squee! Edward: Squee! Kissing:Squee! Break Up: Sobs” so when it came to the birthday party, all I managed was, “Birthday Party: Jasper!” before it actually showed him attacking her. That was pretty cool. Jackson did a pretty good job with that, and I don’t know if it’s just for the preview, but I loved the slow motion thing of Edward slamming him across the room.

One thing though, why are the rest of the Cullens just standing there and watching Jasper go berserk?

I don’t get that. Even Alice is just standing there.

Rosalie and Emmet aren’t even looking at the powerful struggle going on right in front of them (BTW, those are some sexy faces on Edward and Jasper).

Ok, back to the break up. This is one of the saddest pictures ever. Who hasn’t curled up like this upon being broken up with or left by someone you love?

This was when my tears spilled over because seeing this, I instantly thought of the progression of the months and, “Time passes…”. That is one of the saddest things I have ever read in my life.

Does anyone else think Laurent looks a little different?

His dreads are a little fatter, and the hungry vampire eyes are much more noticeable. I like that, it’s creepy.

Jacob Black. Taylor Lautner. What can I even freaking say about this?

Ummm, when does he turn 18 again? Febuary 11? Ok, I will make pervy comments then, when he’s legal. I don’t need to have this coming at me.

Now on to the phasing. I’ve heard some people say it was too cartoony or whatever, but I thought it was pretty awesome. I mean, it could be worse people. We could have something on the level of the sparkle graphics from Twilight.

I love the phasing. Love it. I was worried about how it would turn out, but obviously there is a much bigger budget for this movie, so I’m relaxed a little.

Things I wish we had seen which I’m sure are coming in future previews :

The cliff dive. That’s going to be epic.
The Porche drive into Italy
Edward stepping out into the sun (shirtless!) in Italy
Creepiness from the Volturi

How long until November? This wait is getting really agonizing.
