Stephenie Meyer On Oprah!

The Queen Bee herself was on Oprah this afternoon to talk about New Moon, and in case you missed it, here it is!

Is anyone else bothered by the way Oprah says “phenomenon”? It sounds weird to me, but I guess that’s because I’m from the South and we pronounce it “Fi-NOM-en-NAWN”.

Also, something you guys may have noticed and been pissed about is that the question, “Will there be a fifth Twilight book?” (which everyone knows is Midnight Sun) was teased during a commercial and then never answered. Steph answered that question for a video for Oprah’s website after the taping here.

So what did you think? My favorite part was the school in Missouri all wearing thier awesome T-shirts! I wish Oprah had spent an entire show on this, but otherwise, I was very happy to see this.

Hot Topic has finally listed all the cities that the cast will be coming to for the 2009 New Moon Cast Tour! Click the link RIGHT NOW to see if a city near you is listed!

There was a frantic 15 minutes at my house when I saw Houston was on this list. There were many phone calls made, many squees and screams all around. It would be an extreme understatement to say we are excited about this.

If you see your city on that list, then HERE IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO IN ORDER TO GET ACCESS TO GO:

You MUST be at the Hot Topic location in your city the cast is heading to at 8:00 AM on October 31. Then, you will by a New Moon Cast Tour Tshirt that comes with a wristband, and that wristband WILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO THE EVENT!!!

See? I’m freakin’ excited!!!!

Now, the actual cast members participating on the tour and what cities they will each be going to will not be announced until later in the week. Stay tuned for that!!

Wow. EW just revealed this new book cover for New Moon that will tie into the movie release. They definitely made a good choice with this picture, because I, a staunch Team Edward member, didn’t even notice the image of Edward behind them in the moon until I read the Entertainment Weekly article. That is a seriously sexy picture of Bella and Jacob.

Also, look at the wolfpack (that’s what they are, right?) coming up behind them on the cliff. So creeptastic!

I wonder what the exclusive poster inside will be. I need to get my hands on a New Moon poster quick.

Brand New Book Cover For New Moon

This is the new book cover to coincide with the release of the movie New Moon. I think now I’m going to have to collect all the books with the movie covers because this is pretty cool.

The New Moon Complete Illustrated Movie Companion Book is now up on Amazon for preorder, and will be released on October 6. My only question is, how is this going to come out before the movie? They will be giving too much away! That’s a little crazytown.

THE Yellow Porsche and Other New Moon Props In Italy

These pictures are from Twilighters Italia, one of their readers sent in these pictures plus a video, which you can see at the link, of a stuntman dressed like Alice (allegedly this is the reason he’s wearing a scarf on his head and dainty gloves, but no judging from me. More power to him!) getting out of the car.

The translation from the Italian website is,

The big man you can see in some pictures is one of the stuntmen. He had an Alice wig, a bandanna, a couple of elbow high red gloves, and seemingly from far he actually looked like our loved little vampire/pixie.

Mauro secretly told us that there are two yellow porsche in Montepulciano, placed in different places of the town. As they were not exactly identical, one had yellow brake pad cover and another had them red, Production was willing to spend to the incredible amount of

Entertainment Weekly has some news on some new Twilight merchandise coming from the publishing company Little, Brown. These journals are going to be released on October 13 and will come in the decorative tin in the picture above. Also to be expected in the months leading up to the New Moon movie release are,
