Heartbreaking.

Ugh. I wanted to throw up when I heard about this today.

I’m not going to post the pictures, but I will link to the x17 post in case you haven’t heard about this yet. If you have, please don’t click it again so they don’t get even more traffic.

Here’s the story so you don’t have to click the link if you don’t want to support the people evil enough to do this to someone for money.

Last night, Rob left a party in Malibu, California. He was swarmed by paps as soon as he left, and after getting in his car he tried to drive off and accidentally hit two cars around him. Instead of getting out and leaving insurance info, he left the scene by driving away. (In my opinion, it’s not cool for him not to leave a note at least, but why would he want to get back out of his car and be harassed even more? Also, after watching the videos, it seems to me like he just tapped the cars, and x17 is trying to make it out like he left behind hundreds of dollars worth of damage. PUH-LEZE.)

The photographers followed him down the highway, and after nearly a half hour of them not leaving him alone, he stopped his car, got out, and yelled at the paparazzi following him. After that probably only excited them more, he back in his car and drove away again.

This story would be horrible enough, but what happened next takes this into “makes-me-psycho-with-rage” territory.

He was still being followed (no doubt this made it unsafe to drive. I have watched pap videos of Britney Spears before and it’s a miracle from God that no one has ever been killed in a car crash), so when he saw some police cars parked by the side of the road, he stopped, got out, and asked the police for help while the paparazzi (and normal people with camera phones who saw the commotion) swarmed behind him, flashbulbs going off over and over.

AND THE POLICE TOLD HIM THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO.

Yes, that’s right. They told him there was nothing they could do, even though he was obviously being harassed. Even though these photographers following him had probably been driving like they were in Grand Theft Auto in order to take his picture, endangering him and others on the road. Even though these people were basically actively TRYING to piss him off even further to get a reaction for the camera. At the time I’m writing this, in between photos of Rob being harassed, they have a caption under one gleefully proclaiming, “VIDEO COMING SOON!”

This is undoubtedly disgusting. Rob is not the first celebrity they’ve done this too, and he’s no where the last. Hollywood is a business, first and foremost, and celebrities are only products, packaged for our consumption to make money. The paparazzi are an integral part of that machine, so unless something drastic happens, this kind of behavior on their part is here to stay.

Now before some asshole out there comments saying, “They got into acting, they knew this would happen, they asked for it.” (you know who you are), I’m not saying that ALL paparazzi attention is bad. They usually gather at movie premieres or other red carpet events, and I don’t think there’s really anyone out there who would object to that. There are also the usual paparazzi videos and shots found almost everywhere, where people can watch Britney make a quick run to Starbucks, or Kim Kardashian shop on Rodeo Drive. Those particular situations CAN turn scary very fast, but normally you can see the celebrity looks amused by the photographers, and maybe even engages them in conversation before the paparazzi decide they have their clip or the shot, and they leave the person alone. TMZ even has a TV show FULL of their cutesy little interviews with celebs while they capture them on film going about their business.

The things I described above are one thing. Swarming someone as soon as they step out of the door, moving in as a group with bright bulbs shining in their faces to make them feel disoriented or trapped, then doing everything possible to get a reaction out of them for your camera is entirely another. It’s not only dangerous to the celebrity, the paparazzi themselves, and any one who just happens to be there in the wrong place at the wrong time, it’s incredibly brutal and cold to do this to someone just so you hope they react in a defensive way so you can get more money for the tape.

Everyone should remember what happened to Princess Diana, because it certainly can and probably WILL happen to someone one else.

After reading about this (or seeing the pictures), you probably feel completely disgusted about what happened to Rob (and what happens to other celebrities every day). So what can you do?

It’s pretty much impossible to cut paparazzi photos completely out of your life. They’re shown on TV, they are reposted on websites, they are staring out of the tabloids while you pay for you shit at the grocery store. All of that is nearly unavoidable, but here are a few steps you can take so you don’t support this crap with your dollars.

First of all, don’t buy a tabloid ever again. They are among the top buyers of pap photos, and they usually use them in such horribly misogynistic features like, “Celebrities Without Makeup!” or “Celebrity Bikini Bodies! Who’s 25 and already has cellulite?”

Don’t go to TMZ, Perez Hilton OR X17.com when you’re surfing the web. If you see a link to them on another site, don’t click it. Every time you don’t click, that’s some ad revenue they lose. Save your clicks for better things (like Twilog!)

Stop watching E! News, The TMZ show (I don’t even know what it’s called), or other celebrity news shows. They reshow and replay photos and clips for days (those damn Mel Gibson tapes are EVERYWHERE, and I never wanted to hear them in the first place).

If everyone who was tired of celebrities being treated like this took these steps, there would be no money in it anymore and it would stop happening. Unfortunately, this will most likely not happen anytime soon, but every person who DOESN’T consume this crap is part of the solution.

This guy needs NO photoshopping, no airbrushing, no manipulation or anything to make him look sexier. Not at all. In fact, if he’s even slightly photoshopped, so many women worldwide have spent so much time examining every detail of his perfect face that it becomes painfully obvious.

Thankfully, no one has tried “mirroring” his face, like I discussed last time. I shudder just from the memory of that. But the maipulation of his facial features is still pretty obvious here.

This one took me a minute. I looked at it for longer than I normally would have because I knew right away there was something slightly…off about it. Something is just not quite right. After I studied it for awhile, the best I can figure out is that they shrunk the size of his eyes? And put them…closer together? I’m putting question marks behind those statements because I’m very unclear as to why someone would think this is a good idea, much less follow through and print it.

My first thought on seeing this magazine was, “WOW. They really love their photoshop tools.” I mean, look at the JoBros up there. The sheen from their hair is blinding me.

Let’s take at their version of Rob’s face.

Look at his cheeks! They really hollowed out those bad boys, he looks like he hasn’t eaten in a week! Is this photo the reason the New Moon mini Edward looks like a skeletal zombie in the face? (You can kinda see it in this picture here, but the lighting really hides a lot of it. It’s like half his face is gone since the cheeks are missing. I picked up one of the action figures at the mall and I nearly died when I saw it. If you haven’t seen one of these in person yet, do so ASAP so you can understand what I’m talking about.)

Aside from the cheeks, what did they do to his eyebrows and eye color? They totally changed the color of both! If you notice on the actual cover, they’re nearly black but then inside the magazine, they changed them to be the same color as his hairline.

Magazine people, please. You don’t have to resort to this. Trust, we KNOW what he actually looks like. No one is fooled, and everyone notices.

So which one do you think is more scary? I really can’t decide, and I don’t like looking at either of them for too long. It’s just too wrong.

Before we even get to the heinousness of the type on this cover, let’s examine the photo they chose. More like photo(S), plural, because Rob and Kristen are not sitting together posing for this.

First of all, HOLY PHOTOSHOP BATMAN! These are two different photos that were taken at different times, and they just ‘shopped it so it looked like they were both posing together, staring lovingly at the potential reader, eager to share all their intimate secrets from living together. Also, am I just seeing things, or is Kristen’s cheek have the jagged line where they tried to mess with it? They really effed up her face by trying to slim it (which is totally and completely unnecessary, but I won’t EVEN get started on that). And why is her eye color changed to blue? It looks creepy.

Now, on the to ridic type they used to actually try and get people to buy this bullshit. “OUR apartment, OUR time, OUR details!” like Rob and Kristen actually gave this interview, and this is legit info straight from their mouths. I actually wish this kind of shit was illegal. They are basically tricking people into buying this by blatantly lying on the cover about what’s inside (But then, what magazine DOESN’T pull that?) .

I’m actually really confused as to why they can put a quote like “We’re already like a married couple!” (ugh, gag me with a spoon! Like either one of them would actually say that.) on the cover in quotation marks, like someone said it inside the article, but whoever said it is always from “a source close to the couple/cast/film set” (meaning, a guy off the street).

I’m thinking maybe it’s because it’s in the ‘one dash’ quotes, which is used to signify someone repeating something someone else said. So they are going to claim that either Rob or Kristen said that, and they overheard or were told that, and the “source” is just repeating what they heard.

Do they think that we Twilight fans are ametuers? Do they think that we really believe that Rob and Kristen sat down and told a rag mag all these personal details? Any Twilighter worth her (or his) salt would know way better than that. First of all, before any member of the cast does anything publicity wise, it’s all over Twitter, blogs, and other places in the fandom for weeks. Someone would have known. Secondly, this is Rob and Kristen we are talking about here, probably the most secretive people in the cast. Do the idiots at OK think we really believe they would all of a sudden go crazy and decide that the world needs to see pictures of their (non existent) apartment? And if they ever did do something like that, they would choose the highly esteemed OK Magazine for that honor? I’m actually insulted they consider me, as a Twilight/Rob/Kristen fan, that stupid.

You guys know that I believe in, support, and ship the whole Robsten thing. I think Rob and Kristen are more than friends, and that’s sexy and adorable all at once.

But that’s where it ends for me. I don’t care to know those personal details that all these magazines, paparazzi ,and interviewers think that I, as a Twilight fan, want to know. I don’t want to know where they like to hang out in their downtime, or that they rode home together from some event, or what the inside of their (nonexistent) apartment looks like! I really couldn’t care less. I would MUCH rather the both of them, together or not, have their freakin’ privacy like everyone else, and the opportunity to just BE.

I imagine it must be really embarrassing and annoying having their faces and names show up in crap like this on a weekly basis, meaning they have to fend of stupid personal questions when they are at work, or out trying to enjoy an evening. It’s times like this that I understand why Kristen has an attitude with the media sometimes, or why Rob doesn’t want to leave his hotel room.

The sad thing, I know some people are going to fall for it, and OK will sell more magazines this week as a result of this cover.

OK. So I’ve been reading furiously for the past hour nearly every Twilight site in my TWILIGHT! favorites folder so I can get caught up on everything that occured this weekend. Apparently, I picked the wrong two days to put down the computer and step into real life. I missed A LOT. Here’s a rough timeline of what I can figure out.

First Rob and Kristen were seen going to the Bobby Long show on Friday night, and I posted about it as I always do when it comes to the Robsten stuff. (I disappeared the rest of the weekend because Jeremy is back up in NYC for the same stupid work project that is literally taking forever, and this weekend was the only time we were going to see each other all week.)

Apparently, Saturday, the shiz really hit the fan.

The paps went crazy that day with the invasion of privacy. I watched a video of Kristen pretty much trapped in an elevator as a million flashbulbs went off, Rob speeding on city streets in the Porche to get away from photographers and there are photos you can tell had been taken with a zoom lens of Rob and Kristen having lunch with friends, and hanging out on a (maybe, maybe not the same one) hotel balcony.

I’m not going to post any of that stuff here. There is a line between being a fan and being interested in what your favorite celebrity is doing, and then there is straight invasion of privacy, and it was crossed this weekend. Hanging over a ledge to take pictures of 2 people eating lunch and taking pictures while trying to see in a hotel room should be illegal.

About the whole Robsten-Nonsten thing: I’m getting a little weary of this debate. Just in the past hour I have read SO MUCH about time frames and gestures, about how close or far they may have been standing, the width of a curtain they were behind, the cars they are driving and on and on and on. I have seen people get extremely agro about this, like it actually matters to them personally in their daily lives if Rob and Kristen are/are not together.

People. Let’s all BREATHE. If they are or if they aren’t, it’s going to be ok. It actually realy doesn’t even matter enough to be illicting such an emotional reaction.

I’m not going to use the hotel and lunch pics from yesterday in my “Robsten proof” series here. Yes, I still think they are together (or at least they are special friends), but I feel creepy using pictures that were taken expressly without their permission in such a sneaky way as proof of anything. It’s not like they were walking down the street or in a public place. They thought they were totally away from any cameras, so that’s why using and posting these pics feels wrong to me.

Lainey posted an article earlier today about Paris Hilton’s break up with her boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, the guy whose face she didn’t detach from the whole time they were at Cannes. They even got kicked off a party boat because they wouldn’t stop making out.

Lainey discussed the break up for a few sentences, referring to Paris as Ebola, and then things got downright ominous.

And it’s now looking for a new victim. A famous victim.

Who is the most eligible victim in the world right now?

Look out Twi-hards. It has tried once already. And it will keep trying. It will do whatever it takes. It will open its black hole vagina, suffocate him with its disease, and it will try to fangbang its way onto his marble member.

wants a chance at Rob, who is so completely the opposite of everything she is. My first reaction to this news was, “No. HELL NO. Just. NO.”

Look, I understand her attraction. I thought all of this the first time I heard she was trying to get close to him when she was making all the comments to the media about how cute he was and how much she liked him. Rob is freakin hot and he has such a cute personality, and he’s humble and awkward and adorable and talented and EVERYTHING. I get it, because if I was famous and actually had a chance of meeting him, I would be all over it.

But she just needs to stay the hell away. Rob doesn’t need to be sullied by her. He is way more than just “out of her league”, she shouldn’t even exist in the same universe as him. Even just their pictures should never be next to each other.

It’s just wrong. All wrong.

I thought maybe some of you out there could use a break from all the Rob at Cannes coverage (btw, if you need a break from seeing hot Rob pictures and videos, seek therapy plz.)

OK, I’m going to be honest here. Kristen is so beautiful, it’s hard to find an actual BAD picture of her. Yeah, she looks a little gloomy in most pictures, but the “bish please” face works for her. So, as a result, these are mostly going to be pictures that made me laugh because I thought they were weird in some way.

OK, so in this pic she looks a little cheery, carefree even. But what the F is she wearing? The main thing that assaulted my eyes were the God awful pants. At least I think they are pants. They could be shorts, and that makes them more horrific somehow. What are they made of? Leather? High wasted leather shorts that start right below her bra (and she is definitely wearing one since the strap is hanging out)? I’m completely confused by high fashion.

When I first saw this cover, it gave me a flashback to a random tidbit I read while trying to read/see/listen to everything Twilight related I could get my hands on. After I saw the movie, it was mentioned how they used hairpieces on Kristen so they could cut back on the time it took to style her hair. My first thought was, “They must have used A LOT of them.” because her head looks so flat here. Her hair is the second thing I’m most jealous of her about (first being the fact that Rob has a legitimate crush on her that he can’t stop mentioing in interviews, AND she gets to make out with him), but this is just not a good look for her.

Next, we all have seen this picture, and I for one never get tired of looking at it.

This picture was taken THE WEEK Twilight was released to theaters, and it is literally the first picture I saw of her after seeing the movie. I love this for so many reasons. First, that could be tobacco, but come on, we all know what’s in that pipe. She’s sitting out on a public sidewalk, barefoot with her boyfriend and completely oblivious to the fact that cameras are around. This is Kristen being real,and she has a “I don’t give a fuck” attitude and I honestly love that about her. The reason it’s on the bad list is because, well, this didn’t endear her to a lot of people, including parents. This may have royally pissed off the studio, but this is one of my favorite pictures of her.

In case you needed anymore proof that Kristen likes to get blazed, I present the picture above. This is another one that makes me smile.

This picture is from a big photo shoot she did way before Twilight was made. It was one of those “The Next It Girls” or whatever they want to call it that teen mags do every few years. Most of the pictures are really beautiful, but I take issue with this dress. It looks like someone vomed stomach bile all down the front (sorry for that disgusting visual).

Here’s another one I also just think is adorable. This was taken on vacay with her boyfriend (that’s him in the white shirt) and his family, and it looks like they are enjoying some karaoke. I would never have the nerve to get up in front of all those people and do that, and that’s why she’s the actress and I sit behind a computer all day.

This is the only one of her that can actually be called “bad” in this entire post.

This picture and more like it have been making the rounds since Lainey Gossip posted them earlier this week, amidst all the Rob in Cannes craziness. When I first saw them, I didn’t think she looked completely horrible, I just thought she looked like she had just woken up. My face looks something like this when I don’t get my beauty sleep too. Lainey says Kristen had been up late smoking and drinking, but who knows? I would kill to look like her on her bad days.

Finally, the “bish plz” face she is a freakin’ expert at making.

I’m working on mine every day, hoping to have one half as good as hers. It’s always a good idea to have a bitch face you can pull out anytime you need it.

So this concludes the Kristen edition of Bad Pictures of The Twilight Cast. I realize that most of these pictures are not “bad”, but just go with it.

I’m not seeing how I can do another post on this with any other member of the cast. Ashley Greene has probably never taken a less than perfect picture in her life, neither has Rachelle Le Fevre. The only person I could even imagine a post like this about is MAYBE Jackson Rathbone, because he has lots of funky 100 Monkeys band pictures and he recently got a Mohawk for a movie role. We’ll see.

When I was at Wal Mart last night with Jeremy picking up a few things, I had to go over to the “Twilight section” and see if they finally got some stuff in. I’m not going to be picky here, I just want some fraking buttons, maybe a key chain or two (or five). We headed over there, me a little warily. I wasn’t sure what we would find, considering what had happened last time.

There was nothing. Not even a shelf of unnecessary Doritos. There was a big empty spot where that shelf had been, and the wall was all filled up with the fug purses from last time. Even the big display signs were gone.

I didn’t panic. I stayed calm and told myself they were probably just moving the display. While Jeremy went and stood in line for the check out, I asked at Customer Service to see of they were moving the display to another part of the store. The woman working the counter told me, “Go to the fitting room, and they will show you where it is.”

I walked over to the fitting room, which is incidentally where the stuff HAD been. I suppose they thought I was stupid and needed to be lead the entire 5 feet there by an associate.

Two employees, girls about my age, were standing in the big empty spot and they looked as confused as I was. One of them said, “I just got here. I had no idea they were moving it!” She went to ask the girl in jewelery (really, I had been lead all over the whole store at this point) and she told us, “Yeah, that’s over, and they aren’t getting any more. That’s all that’s left.” and she pointed to one bracelet and one pack of buttons.

So. The moral of the story is go to your Wal Mart ASAP and buy what you want, because according to the employees at mine, they are not going to be carrying that stuff much longer. I think this is pretty stupid of them personally. I guess they don’t want to make more money or something. But all you lucky beotches go and buy your buttons and bags and key chains so I can live vicariously through y’all.

Looks like they will be seeing me around at Hot Topic again.

Yeah, we are going to start with the not-so-good, so we still have the second set to use for brain bleach.

These are from Entertainment Weekly. I love this magazine. When I was a kid, I used to steal it from my mom’s room to look at the pictures. They are still taking gorgeous pictures, so I have to give props where they are due.

But I still don’t know what they were thinking asking Rob to do all these weird poses. Like I’ve said previously, there is nothing wrong with being gay at all, more power to ya and all that, but I don’t want to think of Rob like that (and I don’t mean that like I won’t go see Little Ashes. I’m currently on the prowl for a theater around here to show it). He to me is the epitome of sexy manliness, and I don’t want to see him doing all these ghey pants poses.

Next, there are the outtakes from the VMan photoshoot. This is one of my favorite ones of all the cast, and it didn’t hurt that Rob looks absolutely delicious in it. I love the ones with the plastic vampire teeth!

This picture is pure Rob. Kinda dirty, scruffy, messy, cigarette hanging out of his sexy mouth, and he just doesn’t give a fuck. Loves it.

Did you hear that? That sound was my panties hitting the floor as I looked at this.
