I have no earthly idea who the vast majority of those people are! Some of those band names might as well be written in Martian! Just exactly how I like my Twilight soundtracks!
And hold up a second.
Am I reading that there’s going to be a wedding version of “Flightless Bird, American Mouth”?!?!
That actually makes me want to shed real tears. The only thing I could think of that could even possibly be better than that would be if Rob was singing something this time around.
Tell me your feelings. Have you ever heard any of these artists before? What track are YOU most excited for?

Um, WHO Is On The Breaking Dawn Soundtrack?!
Whitley| September 24, 2011 | 1 Comment
Look, I like Bruno Mars fine. I downloaded that “catch a grande for ya” song (even though, I do not need anyone to catch a grenade for me. If we are both in the path of a grenade, close enough that one of us can touch it, we are both gonna die anyway, so), and after his cool tribute to Amy Winehouse at the VMA’s this year, I’ve considered downloading his album. I like the whole doo wop thing, and I can deal with more of that in my life.
BUT.
Our precious Breaking Dawn soundtrack is just not the place for this. Even among non fans of the movies, the soundtracks have gained a reputation for being completely awesome. They are full of amazing songs by cool indie bands that you’ve never heard of, meaning this is a great opportunity for artists to get their music out to a vast audience if they so choose. My obsession with The Black Keys started all because they had a song I loved on the Eclipse soundtrack, and I still listen to my favorite tracks from the past soundtracks weekly. As someone who is admittedly too picky about listening to new music, these soundtracks are perfect for me since I get to hear so much music I wouldn’t normally listen to.
Does anyone else remember the fuckery that was the horrible Kelly Clarkson song that she wanted on the New Moon soundtrack? (I mean, GIRL. I love singing along to your songs in the car and everything, but NO.)
Thankfully, that was nixed. And what did we get instead? THIS perfection, that was a part of one of the best and most visually striking scenes in the entire movie series. (BTW, who else turns this up on a rainy day and wishes they were in Forks? Just me?…Ok then.)
Maybe I’m supposed to be reserving judgement or something until I actually hear the song. I suppose I can save most of my annoyance until then. But I just have a feeling that this yet another symptom of Scummit trying to make as much money as they possibly can ie: by giving space on the soundtrack to a top 40 artist, they are attempting to get more than just the fans to buy this soundtrack and in the meantime, they don’t give any fucks at all if the quality of the music drops for the rest of us who are used to superior songs in our so-so movies.
What do you think? Is Bruno Mars a good feel for this soundtrack? What scene could a song of his possibly be used in (the wedding)? What soundtrack from the series has been your favorite so far?
AND…
Who else is still waiting for the news that Rob will sing one last song for us?

Guess Who’s Back? (And Beardy! Yum!)
Whitley| September 15, 2011 | No Comments
Rob was spotted at LAX earlier this week, meaning he’s “back in L.A”. (*swoon* Remember that? I know you totally do.)
Kristen and Rob had been photographed (separately, dammit) in London last week. He was basically wearing the same outfit, hat and all. I am loving this return to the slobbiness. He’s so hot, he doesn’t even have to wash clothes.

I have been in class all day, otherwise this would have been posted earlier. HOLY SHIT IT IS FINALLY HERE!
Ok let’s break this down.
Jacob. You have scruff and are wearing a nice button down shirt with the top ones undone. This interests me greatly.
I love you Edward, but I do not like your hair here. THIS is how your hair is supposed to look. It’s your freaking wedding day and they didn’t do your hair correctly. Someone should be fired.
This is adorable. That’s all.
I’m taking this moment to say that once again, I am jelly of her eyebrows. They are back to the magnificent state they were in New Moon, and now that she has her own hair and everything, it’s all working. Gorgeous.
I’ll have what she’s having (Minus the vampire fetus).
Excuse me? Is this supposed to be Carlisle? Oh, my bad. I thought he was some frat bro from the 90′s who wandered in somehow. That haircut looked a million times better when Nick Carter was rocking it.
Ok, starting to get creeped out now…
Ok, I’m a lot creeped out. He looks seriously scary here. I better see this image incorporated into many banners for Darkward fan fiction. Get on that, people.
I love how long this is. It’s about damn time, since the movie comes out in November.
All in all:
Thanks to Breaking Dawn Movie for the screencaps! Click the link to see the rest.
Now that we actually have something substantial to see, what do you think? Let me know in the comments!
