New Eclipse Promo Photos: The Good, The Bad, and The Uggo

The official Eclipse Movie website from Summit has launched, and along with a very High Quality version of the trailer (the fight scenes were so much more awesome), they have revealed some new photos of the cast in character. And as always, I have some thoughts.

Um, guys? What the hell is happening to the top of Bella’s head? I know it’s just the weave that causing her skull to have a weird resemblence to Bigfoot’s, but I feel like they ‘shopped it or something, making it even worse.

I can’t even talk about Edward’s hair. I am heartbroken. I miss this hair. Although, with the new sad hair, it kinda looks like he got he just got out of the shower, and I’m not going to hate on anything that makes me picture RPattz in the shower.

I am irrationally amused by the fact that everyone else’s hair is blowing in the wind, but not Alice’s Bieber hairdo. And again, what a stunningly beautiful photoshop job on the hair strands! Those don’t look fake at all! (see HERE for a white background behind the photos so you can see the random strands. Rosalie looks like she just stuck her finger in a light socket.)

I can’t really say anything about the Wolf Pack except every time I see Quil, I hear in a sexy voice, “I’m Quil Ateara”. Plus, Paul trying to look menacing but sexy cracks me up.

Now for Riley. Apparently, if we go by the trailer, he’s pretty special in this movie. This kinda worries me, since I don’t want to watch a movie about how bad ass Riley is on June 20th. I want to watch a movie based off the book Eclipse that focus on the main people we want to see, Bella, Edward and Jacob. By the way, what is up with minor Eclipse characters getting tons of focus? First Bree, now this guy. One on hand, I think it’s pretty awesome that people are willing to explore these other stories but on the other, I want to get the main story out of the way first.

But, I have to say, he was pretty bad ass in the trailer. After multiple viewings of that, I am definitely not opposed to a little more Riley than I was planning on, so I can’t wait to see how David Slade set this up.

Can you guys believe we only have 65 days left?

    I agree with you on the Bree and Riley issue. Minor characters are getting more attention then those who are suppose to have it! All I saw in the eclipse trailer was Riley!!! I don’t want him I want Edward and Bella!!

    did you see Jaspers hair in the trailer…his poor do gets worse and worse with each movie I say just let Jackson use his real hair cause their wig dept sucks ass!

    @Susie- Oh GOD, Jasper’s hair. I was telling someone earlier this week, he must have really pissed off someone at Summit because they totally screw him over in the hotness department every single time!

    @Viviana- I liked the Riley parts of the trailer, but was offended there wasn’t much more interaction between Edward and Bella, or hell, even Bella and Jacob! They could have shown the punch (if they even filmed that) and I would have loved it!

    Wtf is up with Jasper’s hair it looks awful – and how did it grow if he’s supposed to be a vampire with the whole no-changing thing? And why is bella’s charm bracelet on her right hand? it’s supposed to be on the left b/c she punches jacob and has her right hand in a brace! Don’t even get me started on the new victoria – ewwwwwwww bad wig, acting, etc. we want rachelle back! and poor bella looks like she has one of those “bump its” they advertise on tv under her hair. Summit cut a lot of corners making this movie – they should have waited and not have rushed into it, it would have been so much better with kristen using her own hair, the REAL victoria and so much more we can only wish for :(

    And everyone has some sort of skin condition. Look at the trailers everyone’s skin looks weird – seriously

    @ Courtney – You may be right about the Bump-it! I didn’t even think about that!

    Also, I miss Rachelle too, so much. Think how much more awesome the trailer would have been with her instead of BDH. Sadness.
