Woah, Angela! Christian Serratos For PETA (Kinda NSFW)

Christian Serratos, who plays Angela in the Twilight saga movies, is the latest celebrity to take part in PETA’s “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaign.
I think she looks amazing in this ad, and anytime anyone supports the rights of animals is great, but I, as a feminist, can’t help but wish she would have chosen another animal rights organization to show suport for. (If you want to know more about PETA and how they exploit and humialte women for shock value in their ads, please read here, here and here.)
Does anyone else remember when PETA awarded Twilight the movie an award for being, “Animal Friendly”? Really? Did they even SEE the movie, or read the books? It’s like they heard “vegitatiran vamprire” and thought that was all they needed to know!

She looks amazing but I have to agree that this campaign seems a little demoralizing

This one is actually the least offensive one they have, IMO. The pictures are tastefully done, and the women are usually posed beautifully, even if they are just basically showing off a naked body.
The billboard they put up on the beach in Florida with a cartoon of an overweight woman saying, “Save The Whales; Go Vegetarian, Lose that blubber” is among the worst.
