New Moon Movie D-Day Plans

There is only a mere 108 days until New Moon hits theaters. I plan on being at the midnight show, which for those of you that are confused (like me. I had to look this up to be sure. Don’t judge), the midnight showing of New Moon is technically on a Thursday night at midnight, on Nov 19.

I already submitted my email at Fandango so I can be alerted to when New Moon tickets go on sale. For some reason, I have a really bad feeling that there are going to be A BUTTLOAD more people trying to get in this movie at midnight, so I’m going to be RABID about getting my tickets in time.

Something I’m also wondering about is what time to get to the theater to wait in line. Last year, I got to the movies at about 7 or 8, and my mom had gotten there earlier to hold a place in line. We were that early, and our place in line was still just barely inside. The line went all the way outside and wrapped around the building (and this was a huge Cinemark theater). So…I’m thinking that 5 or 6 would probably be best. If that’s too early and I’m first in line, then oh well! Good for me!

I’m also thinking of bringing my laptop (it’s a mini, so it wouldn’t be inconvenient), but then what would the point of that be if they don’t have Wi Fi? And why would a movie theater have Wi Fi? People go there to actually watch movies, not fangirl out and blog about a movie they are about to see. So I think I will just have to settle for getting Twitter on my phone and tweeting from the line.

So, what about you? Any plans yet for the midnight showing? Do you already have a itinerary in place with times and places already set?
