When you’re thinking of all the hot guys in the Twilight Saga, the list can go on for awhile. Of course, there’s Rob. Then Taylor. Then Jackson and Kellan, Peter isn’t too shabby either. Now with New Moon we’ve got all those guys in the wolf pack who are going to be getting a lot of attention once this movie comes out (Even my grandma has a crush on Gil Birmingham aka Billy Black. True story).

I just have to get this off my chest. I know that some of you will be a little (a lot?) confused and may never be able to look at me the same after this, but I don’t care. I can’t hold my feeling in any longer.

I have a huge crush on Billy Burke. Yes. It’s true.

These feeling have been growing for awhile now. I can’t really pinpont when it all began. It all started very innocently. When I saw Twilight, that was the first time I had ever seen him in any movie and at first, he didn’t really stand out to me or catch my attention. I was just like, “Oh that’s Bella’s dad. Cool.”

Then one day, during a quiet day of blogging and doing laundry, I flipped the TV to the Lifetime channel.

I’m not gonna lie, I love me some Lifetime. More entertaining movies have really never been made. Where else but the Lifetime channel can you watch a movie where the main character wakes up with amnesia and then later realizes she married a serial killer? (ok, so I’ve never seen a movie like that, but it sounds like it would be awesome.)

The movie I watched that day was classic Lifetime fare. I IMDB’d it (what? That’s a verb now) and found out the name of it is, “Don’t Look Down” and it is the perfect movie to waste an afternoon with.

While I was folding the laundry and enjoying this cinematic masterpiece, I realized that the husband of the character in the movie was very familier. It only took me a second to realize it was Billy Burke, but younger. And as I realized in a steamy scene of the movie, he was also sexier. You can watch a clip from the start of the movie here and see the hotness in action. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but I’ll just say that Billy plays a pretty sexy bad guy too.

Another reason I adore him are his crazy tweets. (His real twitter account is here). Here are some of my favorites:

-@amandazufolo WORD!! I guess i didn’t win a teen choice award either. Thought for sure there would be a “best facial hair” category.

-On the set of the indy movie i’m squeezing in before Eclipse. The guy I’m playing could kick a vampire’s ass with his mind. (and a lunchbox)

-I just want a Charlie Swan lunch box. Is that too much to ask?

I also think a Charlie Swan lunch box would be pretty kick-ass. I would carry that around my college campus proudly.

I can’t wait to see him in Breaking Dawn. You know the part I’m talking about **SPOILERS** When Charile “knows”. I know Billy will do such an awesome job with that.

So wow. *sighs* I feel much better now that all that is out in the open. I think Bella’s dad is hot, and I’m not ashamed.

    OMG. A video would be epic. I would have it in the sidebar here so I could watch it all the time and share the hotness with everyone else! Great idea!

    Do not be ashamed! I too find Billy oddly attractive! Even as a self-proclaimed Rob purist, I find myself giggling and sighing about Charlie whilst watching Twilight. He’s fucking adorable.

    Oh, I LOVE Billy Burke, and I’m a big fan of movie Charlie (book Charlie pisses me off a lot, but I guess I love him, too). I love Charlie so much I made him my dream Charlie in the FF I’m writing. And, with Billy, I don’t have to feel like a dirty old woman for thinking he’s hot ;)

    I think that’s a big basis of his appeal. He’s not jail bait for really anyone! I have checked out your fan fic and it is really good. I’m compiling a list of what to read next and your fanfic is definitely at the top!
